Project Overview: Luxury Dinesen Floorboard Restoration in Fulham
Specialist restoration of high-end Dinesen floorboards in a premium Fulham SW6 lounge area (30.5 square meters).
The Challenge
Dinesen boards are a significant investment and require a specialist touch to ensure the staining and sealing do not mask their unique character. The client requested a bespoke stain followed by a satin finish.
Our Solution
- Preparation: 3 stages of precision sanding and buffing to create a furniture-grade surface.
- Staining: Application of a bespoke stain shade to the client’s preference.
- Finishing: Sealed with 3 coats of Clear Satin Lacquer to lock in the colour and provide a sophisticated glow.
The Result
The lounge now features a floor that is the centerpiece of the home. The stain is perfectly even, and the satin lacquer provides a warm, inviting sheen that reflects the property’s luxury aesthetic.
